Default Why would you want to do that?

... the subwoofer receives signal from the amp, which receives signal from your head unit. If you tried what you're describing, you'd just get bass, and no sound.

You should run the ipod to the head unit.

Default i hate to do it...

search!

seriously, search for skabaru's ipod install. iirc you can hook it up using the ghey FM or tape transmiters, or there's an input in the trunk you can use. You could probably tap it at the head unit though... not completely sure though.

Search around, tons of guys have hooked up their ipods to their rides, it's the player of choice ;-)

Once you get it installed, we want pics.

Default answers....

As Kenny has mentioned, taping into the amp input wouldn't work. what you need is a Blitzsafe adapter, it connects to the CD changer wiring harness and allows you to plug it into the I-Pod headphone slot. The head unit will think you're playing a CD (Disc 1 track 99). They cost about $70-80+shipping. I have one that I'm am thinking about selling. E-mail me if you're interested.
