Default Copy that. SAP is only checked when activated on some cold starts.

Some of the local guys are working on it so I was going to see what comes from that.

Default and I just pulled mine off 2-3 weeks ago, cleaned it, new gaskets (one was leaking) and...

reinstalled it. I thought that I was imagening that the car was running better. I did it before I installed the EFU boost gauge.
Come to think of it, I am still waiting for the different oil sender. They sell on that goes in place of the oil drain plug. I saw there was place for a sender on the top of the oil filter bracket. But that required a different size sender that they are ordering for me.

Default I used a resistor when I removed mine and had no problems for about a year....more

I am assuming the resistor has crapped out or became disconnected. In reality it should work because like most other items in our car they are checked with resistance indicating low or high voltage/power. All you have to do is replicate the resistance of the SAP motor and wala. There is no MAF type sensor to test air flow for it. I made my own block off plate as well. I find it harder to trick the car with a test pipe installed. Thats been driving me crazy tryingh everything. I am sure my O2 sensor is bad now and thats my cause. I will start all over again once I put the new one in. lol I have no idea what resistance my resistor is right now but I will try a few and get back to you guys with my findings.

Why SAP is a worthless piece of clutter? Dump it 100%

Ahhhh no! I get one every 1500 miles and actually 20 squared resistor works 100%.

Default I don't. SAP is for cold start up only. When pump is pulled and or plug has resistor it has no...

incorrect readings.

Default Maybe, I've only heard it once or twice while sitting and idling when warm.

You can usually tell wen it comes on, it draws quite a bit of electricity.
