Default I've got a beef with my Audi dealer...

My A4 is due for it's 8000 mile service. The dealership, Autohaus Lancaster informed me that they don't give loaner vehicles for routine service. I have no problem with this. What I do find outrageous: My younger brother owns a Hyundai Elantra (what a rolling piece of junk... it's very existence makes me want to hurl) and his dealership gives him a loaner car! What's up with that?!?! He even started to rag on me when I told him that I didn't get a loaner

Default If the dealer made a promise for service loaners when you

bought the car and you have it in writing, then you have a valid beef.

If not, move on with your life and get over it. It's not worth getting stressed and upset about. I'd take an Audi without a loaner over a Huyundai with a loaner ANYDAY!<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=161"</a><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/a4registrydl.jpg" BORDER=0></a>

Default The dealership let me know up front that I wouldn't get a loaner...

I was joking that I had a beef with them. Though I still think it's outrageous that my brother in his Elantra gets a free loaner

Default

Audi clearly has not decided if it wants to play in the same "luxo" league as Lexus et. al.

Default Not all dealerships do it but enough of them do that there's no excuse for not doing it.

Default I get a loaner, only because I bought the car from them.

IF I didn't they charge for it.
