Default Don't forget to add in the value of EMCS, multiple programs and the home programmer

on the APR value side. (assuming you are going from APR Stage 1 to Stage III .. of course )

Default Well that lovely lady at APR that gave me the 20 hour labor (install) quote...

told me it would be $150 for the additional programs even though i was stage I, that it wasn't free...not sure what to make of that, since the website does say you get the whole slew o' programs, etc. Naturally, id want street and race if i got the kit.

Default There are a few 'lovely ladies' and 'lovely gentlemen' at most businesses with which I've dealt that

don't know their butts from their elbows.
In my long (and hoping it will be WAAAAYYYY longer) life I've found the person who answers the phone is usually NOT the one to ask anything of other than 'May I speak with x please?'
I think reception is typically not the domain of the experts
It is as the web site states.

Default Agreed...

but that still is no excuse, a small tuning company should know lots of incoming calls would be technical in nature, and should at least have a script that the receptionist type person can read to the caller.

Imagine if someone who does not frequent AW called after hearing about a turbo kit, and was told that the install is 20 hours? That might turn away a potential sale.

You know im not pushing an agenda here Yippers, just commenting. There should be standing instructions that if you are not sure, then ask for the caller's contact information and get back to them. In my profession, you can get in very serious trouble for answering without full knowledge.

Default Oh I know you have no agenda. I have noted that the last 3 or 4 times I've called the woman who

answered said "Audi Performance and Racing, how may I direct your call?" Perhaps they have amended that very lack ??
