Default Jack stand placement?

Can anyone give me good jack stands points, front and back?
I will use the regular jacking points for lifting with a trolley jack.

If you use jack stands at the factory recommended jack points you will bend/break the pinch welds.

Default I saw a guy in orlando that had solid aluminum circle blocks made

with a slit down the middle that allowed the pinch to rest into the alumnimum block, it was nicely made.

Default Yeah you can do that for a jack - but would you perch those blocks atop a jackstand?

Hope not! =)

You can also do it the ghetto way with a block of wood and a hacksaw.

Default the solid aluminum circle block fit inside the jack arm end point

and then was measured perfect of the perch sit inside the slit, so that the undercoating and the pinch weld would not be hurt or torn
