Default Dude, read it a little closer. Thats the TRANSVERSE kit...

and the program for that was just to get it up and running. The kit is the same one that is on Nick's GTI that ran a 13.01 at 108 at ATCO a few months ago. They have not even tuned that on the dyno, and the kit thats on that car is NOT a production kit It was some "giveaway" with no tuning whatsoever. The guy needs to wait until the final dyno tuning is done when Brett and Frank get back from Europe.

Again, the kit is NOT for sale yet, and that is not the final result of the work they are doing.

Default Read again. The program is not done. The one on that car is just to have it run. Nothing more.

Get it? They have NOT done the programming yet, and it's not for sale until it is done. The kit on that car was not a normal "deal" It was not even a mule car. I don't know WHY it was put on the car, but it's far from what a production kit will be like. It doesn't even have all the production parts, since they were not all done at the time from what I recall. They put that on in the last week I was there, and was not party to why it was done. I gather that they expected to be done with the kit when the install was scheduled, and when the final kit was not ready, the car was there, so they put on what they could (the guy DID come from pittsburg after all..., what were they gonna say< sorry, you gotta go home emptyhanded?)

Anyways, don't enflame when it's clearly inappropriate. NOONE not even APR knows what the final output will be, but from what the experimental tuning showed on the GTI at ATCO (13.01 at 108, and Dub (trap at 110), then it will make quite a bit.

Save the fight for when the kit is released, not on a protoype thats in development.

sheesh.

I wasn't trying to start a fight or anything. I was just trying to help inform people.

Default I have to disagree, in that informing involves predicating the discussion with....

proper background information before leading folks to the melee. Your post was not crafted like that. It read more like a tabloid article.

For instance, noone here runs a transverse, so why was it relevant in this forum? Maybe if you posted it in the TT arena, then I'd say it's relevant.
