Default Just changed out my Denso Iridium plugs...

the car was misfiring, bucking, so I decided to change the spark plugs to see if that's the problem. Switch back to OEM Borsch. Everything seems fine now, the bucking is gone, no more misfiring.

Default It's not that I don't recommend them...

my car was bucking too, when I punch it in high gear, going up to high rpm. That's misfiring. Changed back to brand new OEM, and everything is fine. The Denso seem fine, I am pretty sure if I sand blast them, clean them up, they should work like a champ just like the first moment I put them on. They say the Iridiums last up to 100k miles, but I won't keep them for that long. If I do, definately clean them often after having this happen to the car.

Default You have a chip? And if so what turbo you running? The gap might be a bit wide or you may need the

IK22s.

Default yeah, I got a chip, running stock K03...

what gap are the IK22s? I have the stock heat range, might try 1 range colder. But damn these plugs are pricy!

Default The gap on the 20s is .044 IIRC. The 22's come at either .028 or .032 I forget which. If you

have any puny coil packs or a weak ignition amplifier .044 can be too wide a gap at the upper rpms. You might try re-gapping them at ..say .032 or .034 and see what you get. Be careful as gapping them is not easy.
Carbon in the heads can also contribute to misfires at higher boost pressures as can carbon build up in the coil pack tips or cracks in the tips.

Hmmm... I'll try to re-gap them, and see how them turn out then. Thanks!
