It seems as if the place that did my oil change put it too much oil. Stick reads over the full mark. Probably put in 5qts instead of the 4.25 or so with the updated oil filter. Is this ok or do I have to drain out all that new oil and add new stuff to bring it up to the right level? I brought all my own stuff to the place that did the oil change and they didn't charge me a dime to do the change so no need to bash them.

I'm not gonna have a chance to drain it for a few days and the oil was changed probably 3 weeks ago. My bro was saying to get a little siphon(sp) thing and stick it in the dipstick tube and just suck out whatever extra is in there. Would that work?

per say it really isnt bad overall... having too much.. it's not like you have 6 or 7 quarts of oil in there.
just drive really fast and hard one day and you will notice that the oil burns up.
