Default Just checked the tech section. Fuel filter replacment-->

Car has been running like **** the past couple days at high rpms. Just doesn't feel good anymore. Around town it's plenty quick, but in higher RPMs it almost feels like is hesitating.

How much of a b!tch is it really, to change the fuel filter???? Anyone have any tips or tricks they used???

Default That's not your problem

You might have a significant air/vac leak somewhere. Check all the vac and intake hoses.

I would run a can of engine cleaner though the top of the engine. I would also run a can of fuel injector cleaner through the gas tank. I like seafoam - it works, it's $5 a can, and I can get it at NAPA and Autozone. See my pic - this is where I let it get sucked into the intake:

On the other hand, could be the fuel filter causing restriction. Should be able to find instructions in the archives.

That being said, try some fuel injector cleaner such as seafoam or redline first. It is a lot easier and a 5 dollars, not much of a financial risk.

Yeah....i got tips,
Follow the tech section write-up to a "T".
If u do that, its easy as changing your oil.
If u don't do exact what the tech section says. Then u gonna have a long day/night ahead of you.
