Why would you want to? Lighter wheels are more important than lighter lug nuts.

Isn't that more for strength than saving weight? How much weight-saving can be achieved with lugs?

Default all 20 titanium lugs would save A LOT

20 titanium lugs would probably weigh as much as maybe 5 normal ones if not closer to 3 or 4.

I have a titanium axle on my motocross bike and it saved about 1.2 lbs or so.

Default I have some lightweight aluminum hardware on my cannondale

its all anodized blue to match the bike. It does reduce the weight which is a bonus. But the bike's not gonna stress it as much as a car, so aluminum is not exactly ideal, Ti is quite expensive and is difficult to work with I think. I think it might also be a restricted material, not sure tho.

that was back in my mtn biking days.

Default titanium saves some unsprung weight, and,....

a miniscule amount of rotational inertial. use anti-sieze compound when titanium is in contact with other metals, so's it doesn't "cold-weld". cost vs. weight savings is very high. address other weight saving measures first. super-duper wheels probably have a better ratio of $/lb. then there are the free ones, like pulling all the seats except the pilot's.
