Default Just Dave...calling Just Dave...

JD...i was wondering if you took pics of your LLtek intake kit before installation. i want to see if i got everything i was supposed to. looking at the additional parts list for the 12v, it seems like i'm missing some. my instruction sheets also seem to be targeted to the 30v. invoice says i got the 12v kit.

Default I seem to recall that the instructions were the same for both kits.....

Your car has no VRS tube, so your kit won't have the tiny little cylindrical filter. Ig nore the parts of the instructions that mention the VRS tube.

Your kit should have....

1. The cone. Big pink thing. Hard to miss. Important.

2. Heat shield. Big metal plate.

3. Extension tube bracket thingy. About a 4" long by 3" diameter silver tube with support brackets welded to it. Cone gets mounted to it, it gets mounted to engine.

3. Hose clamp for the cone.

4. Some nuts and bolts (my kit had 5, probably the same for yours).

Dass about it. Now install it already! BTW, finished my heat shield mod. Will post some pix soon.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/763898.phtml</a

Default mine has...

1. the cone filter with hose clamp attached
2. the heat shield with a silver bracket. 3 nuts and bolts are already attached to the shield.
3. black (not silver) support thingy with 4 sets of nuts and bolts attached.
4. 2 zip ties

oh well...i'll work on it this morning and we'll see what happens!

Default Seems like yer all set. Doesn't sound like you're missing anything....

Not sure what the zip ties are for.

I expect an in-depth, thorough, honest review of your setup this evening. That's an order, soldier =P
