Default just examined/drove A4 with this "sport suspension"

<flame suit activated> no wonder i see these components for sale on the classifieds. i honestly could not tell a significant difference. it was a bit more firm then my standard stock suspension, but it's nothing i wouldn't change with [insert here] shocks and [insert here] springs. and to be the typical boy racer, it wasn't any lower (or shall i say higher) then my stock A4.

i wish all modifications could be tested out before you purchase them (like sport suspension). i almost dropped $200 on a used sport suspension. so if anyone in the area has a nice suspension setup on their A4, drop me a line and i'd love to take a ride (weather not permitting). </flame suit activated>

Default what utter nonsense.......the difference between non-sport and sport is huge......

not sure what you're smoking, or whether you didn't take it for a good test drive, but it's quite a difference. I've driven both a number of times, there absolutely IS a big difference.

Default Don't know what you rode in but teh OEM Sport suspension is quite noticably firmer than the non

Sport and is ~.75 inches lower than non Sport. Perhaps the car in question isn't truly on the 1BE suspension?

Default Are you sure your car doesn't already HAVE the sport suspension???......

that could be the only explanation for you not noticing a visual difference in height. It's quite dramatic.

Either that, or maybe the other car didn't actually have the sport package.

Default IMO nothing wrong with a used OEM Sport Suspension depending on mileage and the kind of use it saw.

For example, the OEM Sport springs and shocks I pulled to install my C/Os, spent >95% of their use running down a VERY smooth part of I5. I imagine they have well over 60% of their life left. If someone wanted to do a DIY install of those parts they could noticably improve a non Sport cars suspension for under 150 ... a bargin IMO.

Agreed. Something must have been not quite right. Either that or an inadequate test drive.
