Just got back from driving my buddy's E55 AMG...
Only one word ... NNNIIICCCCEEEEE!!!
It's totally a different animal from my A4. But then again, it's about $95,000. 350 hp V8, nice sporty, but comfortable suspension, the steering is very direct and not spongy (like my A4). Nearly orgasmic!
It's a great car for him becuase he commutes from Orange County to Las Vegas every other week.

most expensive car I drove was LS400
great power. - it's one of those car that you see the speedometer and suprised that you are going that fast!) lux car ride. love the instrumentation. (cathode tube speedometer/tech were awesome) big, and confortable.
Wouldn't mind owning one of those.

I know what you mean. My Mom has a GS430
That thing is HELLA NICE! Honestly, for the money, I'd rather have a slightly modified GS430 and save $20k than buy an AMC E55.

Holy Guacamole!! That's got to be fast.
While we were at the dealer, there was a "K55 AMG" which was a modified SL500/600. I've never heard of a K55 before that. Maybe it's the supercharged version because of "Kompressor"

She had a 2001 Porsche 996 Carrera before that, but didn't like having a stick!
That car was cool, but it didn't feel that fast. It handled like a go cart though!
