Default If it was completely repainted ( not just a small touch-up) then wait a month b4 waxing... paint has

to cure!

Default how much was it to be repainted?

do they take the whole bumper off, strip the paint, and then repaint it?

Default i took it off myself and drove it to them in my wife's car.

they did it for free. the dealer scraped my car and paid for the repaint. i don't know how much it would have been

Default Wait a month. better safe than sorry.

A month is conservative, some might say 6 months

Default To be honest...

time has changed and the materials they use are a lot better. They also now bake your paint on at a lot of places. They colorsand and polish and wax the fresh paint right after it dries. I would think if you use caution and do a light easy coat, no harm in my book. They also I think claybar your car to get the overspray off on fresh paint.

Your decision tho.

Default Why are you in so much of a hurry to wax it?

I won't look much different waxed now or a month from now!

It's painted with polyurethane, the paint cures properly in about a month with oxygen bonding.....air=oxygen, wax blocks air...get the message? I would wait!
