Just got word from shop:: : For once i couldnt find a problem, maybe this is why
the OIL PUMP GASKET WENT!?????
thats wat the audi pro in my town said.
the car was spewing out oil like crazy
The oil pump gasket ? Isnt the oil pump in the pan and when can it leak to the outside? what am i missing?
Him and I are pretty much neigbors/friends, but i dont expect anytihng from him, he said he'd do it for $4xx I cant drop a subframe in my driveway to take the pan off (as he said) , so I honestly think i should just let him handle it.
This is the only time id pay someone to work on the car
what do you think?
BTW Tony contacted me yesterday , and said hed check out / try to fix ecu for free

You haven't got an oil pump gasket... the AEB/ATW oil pump is not bolted to the block with a gasket
besides it is bolted up to the block inside the oil sump.
