just had new front brakes put in i have to push the pedal down a lot further for them to kick in

Default just had new front brakes put in i have to push the pedal down a lot further for them to kick in

also i tried to get the abs to work, not working

Default just the pads or the rotors too?

Pads have to be broken in a little - they have to wear a bit to make a smooth contact surface with the rotor before they're at their best.

I wouldn't push them too hard (like trying to test ABS), until that's done.
