Default Not good. :)

I'd guess probably 120 hp. However, you have to keep in mind that a forced induction engine is typically tuned down to compensate for the boost pressure. (such as lower compression) The turbo is also restrictive itself when it comes to exhaust flow. So if the turbo isn't spinning, it's just a big blockage in the flow the exhaust.

I imagine you could really tune the engine up. Remove the turbo, raise the compression, all that suff. Probably get it up to 170hp pretty readily. Maybe higher. I'm not too keen on exactly how much performance is gaining by raising compression and all that.

Default yea ... 110 - 130 sounds about right. Check out 2 liter specs in europe .. same thing .. (more)

2 liter is to 1.8T as
2.8 liter is to 2.7TT

if im not mistaken

Default 90hp maybe. The Euro 1.8L 20V produces 125. However it's different from a 1.8t in many ways.

I can't remember the compression ratio but I'm certain it's higher than that of the 1.8t. Plus the cam has drastically different profiles and the one on the 1.8t will not make much hp when normally aspirated.

WYSIWYG's turbo went out once and the car's top speed was 70mph on a flat road. So I figure it can't be more than 60hp since my 67hp 240D can reach 80mph. Granted the turbo was a big restriction in the exhaust system in that case. So if we assume a near stock NA exhaust was fitted 80 to 90hp is a very generous estimate.
