Just a quick one to those that say its illegal to not have orange inserts in headlights...

Default Just a quick one to those that say its illegal to not have orange inserts in headlights...
My buddy just got a 2004 325ci and stock it doesn't come with any orange insert. That tells me that it is not illegal to have it. Why would a car company make an illegal car? Just food for thought....

IIRC bmws have orange reflectors on the bumper?

Default umm der. the corner lights are orange.
when we talk clear corners here, we also talk blue non orange bulbs as well.

Default it is not illegal to have clear corner lights
as long as there is an orange reflector on the front corner. Older maximas had clear corners but had orange reflectors in the bumper.

i've passed inspection with my ecodes... no orange corner reflector insert, just an orange bulb

Default my IS300 is the same way.
Actual headlight is clear but their's an orange reflector down there too.
