Just talked some girl, who had no idea, into chipping her 1.8T

Really...you dig the GIAC...here's some data pulled from a GIAC equipped car today...
not saying it's GIAC's fault...but I hear fault number two is a common GIAC issue ;-(
VAG 18010 SAE (P1602) Power Supply (B+) Terminal 30 Low Voltage / Intermittent (from swapping your ECU)
VAG 17963 SAE (P1555) Charge Pressure Upper Limit Exceeded
VAG 16826 SAE (P0442) Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak)
It seems GIAC is going beyond the range of the pressure sender on the car possibly...It tops out at like 1.2~1.3 bar

That is not true because I hit 25psi on my dbw car and I dont get that code at all.
But I run at 20 psi all the time still I dont get that code. I push my K03 harder then anyone out there has but yet I still dont get any codes from my race chip running on pump gas.

Hmm maybe nipper has an early GIAC chip for 00? Cause his car throws this code...
I've heard a few other GIAC complaints centered around overboost codes. It's not a big issue as it's a non check light type code...his light is on because of that Evap system leak...the car is an enviro **** you can't leak **** w/o it getting pissed off.
I asked him if he got any updates and he said no...maybe he should send his ECU in.
