Just tried racing my friends WRX, bad move!!!
Right from off the line, it was pretty much over. His tires(G-force) hook up immediatly and i pretty much got stuck looking at his taillights for 1/4 mile. I run a 01 A4 1.8t w/ borla(not chipped yet} and I knew both of our numbers going in but what the hell you gotta lose sometimes too. Suprisingly I was starting to make up some ground right around 85 mph, and that was shocking. It seems like 0-60 they scream but top end struggle. He has some mods(sti exhaust sti shifter bov) but all in all pretty stock. Any of you stage 2 or 3 A4's have any expierence against WRX?

i also raced my friend who has a WRX
he pulled me, time after time. his WRX is bone stock, and I am running APR stage 1 on my '00 with quattro, with 2.5" brullen exhaust. we were just street racing, but the distance i was behind at the end of our race was 1 or 2 car lengths, although I am not sure the distance of our race. probably was less than a 1/4 mile.

I had a run-in with a WRX on my way back to school a week ago...
To be honest with you...the car did not really inpress me. With the combo of stage III and my suspension...I easily smoked him several times on the highway. Like said before, I don't think they have much up top...just a quick 0-60. I really want to see what I can do against a nicely modded one.
