K&N Filter, or LLTEK intake?

Default Why re-oil the filter.

If the belief of over oiling the K&N Filter will cause damage isn't an extra $55+ worth saving instead of a new MAF?

Besides you can always practice oiling on the previous filter so that you do not over oil.

Default If you're a tool and have never used/serviced a K&N before, another filter is better...

but I've used and serviced K&N filters on every car I've owned and have never had a problem with the oil.

Default Or even dumber and not use it.

What do you think catches the dirt particles on the loosely spaced K&N?

Default I think the over-oiling problem comes from user error. You certainly need the oil...

but you only use very little.

I agree. peronally back to stock paper since no K&N gains found.

Skip the LLTEK intake. It'll just pull in hot engine bay air.
