I'm guessing the answer is no, but is it possible to run a k04 on an auto? I keep reading that with the k04 you need to upgrade your clutch for the increased power...there's probably not any way to upgrade the auto trans without spending big $$$.
I'm mainly looking down the road if/when my k03 fails. I guess I could run a k04 with a 1.1bar giac chip (non-k04 chip) and exhaust. I wouldn't be harvesting the extra power from the k04, but it would work better/last longer than a replacement k03. I'm not racing the car or looking for insane amounts of power...just trying to get her fast without spending large amounts of cash. (and reliability)

The K04 naturally draws more boost...so much so that with K03 software it will go into limp mode...not much point in getting the K04 unless you are going to use it and enjoy it...

But yes you will need to upgrade your GIAC chip at the same time other wise you car will not be tuned for the larger amounts of air. The K04 kits also run on a 5 bar fpr to give the car more fuel with the stock injectors.

it seems like with the 1.1bar chip alone it slips. I may not be slipping, it may just be that I need the tip chip...but it kinda feels like my honda did when the clutch was about to go.
Has anyone else had this "feeling" after upgrading their ecu...or should I be concerned that my auto-clutch is about to go?
