k04 chip question
I got everything for my k04 kit but the chip. Can I take a regular chip and reflash it with k04 software?? or does it have to be specifically a "ko4 chip". Where can I get one real cheep??? thanks guys

Do you have the GIAC software for K03 now?
I see it in your sig as this summer. Does that mean you have it. If so ask the vendor how much they will charge you for a reprogramming. I have read that some companies will do it for around $20.

Your probably not gonna find K04 software cheap...more
K04 software is usally a $600.00 program for non-dbw cars GIAC charges $200.00 to upgrade from K03 to K04 software. Probably the only way your gonna find it cheap is if you can find a used ECU or chip.
