I am planning to swap my turbo out for the AWE k04 kit and need to know if this thing will still pass smog. I have searched, so dont give me any crap about searching. Thanks.

Didn't have a problem passing emissions in So Cal with K04 and GIAC programming

Yeah...there weren't any definite "Passes" only "It should" (I already searched). Has anyone in Cali passed with the k04 and giac program? The only reason why I sold my last car was because it wouldn't pass smog after I turbo'd it, I want a definite answer before I drop over a grand on the kit.

don't blame me if you don't though, this is what I have recalled reading in previous posts in the past about this. sometimes my memory isn't what it used to be, too much booze messes with the mind

you cant tell a difference between a k03 and k04 and the chip wont matter. esp if you are quattro.
