K04 Turbo Times??
I have seen so many different perspectives on the K04 Turbo. Has anyone actually done some numbers? I am considering the upgrade but am looking to get 0-60 times at least in the low 6s, and the quarter mile in the mid to high 14s. Is this really possible? I heard from someone that with the K04 the car would top 150 barely, but someone else wrote here that his car topped out at 140, which seemes wayyy to slow considering a 150hp one goes 135. Thanks for any help.

check out this link
it has the stage III and K04 times on the same track on the same day. The K04 is a potent combination with a nice chip and an exhaust. I just recently installed a K04 with a GIAC chip and it kicks ***. No LAG and lots of punch!

Thanks man! Was I reading the past correctly? The guy with the K04 kept up with an apr stage 3 and ran a 14.5! That would be like a 5.8 0-60? Thanks for that link!

If you ever had a chance to see audizone.com before they started moving it over here you could have seen some good information. Don P.(I believe owner of that site) removed the information on the times for the K04 because he was getting a lost of crap about it. I think I saw a 5.8s 0-60 time on there though. Pretty impressive IMO.

Clarify it Ken. It's the DBW Stage 3, not a pre 2000.
Not gonna get into a war about this one, but Dingsters car is a 2000 (DBW), and that program was developed over 2-3 days. It is not by any means the full potential of the kit. DMAK (non-dbw)posted a 13.8 in the wet on the 1 or 2 runs he ever did with the car. Fact is, most stage 3 guys do track not drag.
When the revision number is as high as the GIAC K04 program, then I suggest we compare. Fair enough?

Re: I seen this kid race b4 14.5 is nothing in his car.....
I lowest ET i seen from this kid is 14.2 with stock factory tires and rim combo! Imagine if he had some sort of aftermarket setup.

yeah i had actually been to that site, i remember reading about him saying he removed the times because of the skeptics, but i thought that was just with his chip, no k04. anyhoo, from what you guys are telling me low 14s, maybe faster is a def. possibilty without killing the car too badly. i appreciate all the info.
