I have a 99.5 1.8T Quattro w/ a Wett 1 bar chip and a Scorpion DTM exhaust. I want to ad even more power and am considering a slighty used K04 turbo. Should I buy a used Turbo? If so what else do I have to purchase w. the turbo to make it work with my car (ie Exhaust manifold? Intake hoses? Fuel Injectors? ) I'm cheap so I'd rather not replace anything, but also don't want to kill the engine. Thoughts?
