Keeping car clean with Yakima roof-racks on...

How do you do it? Leave the racks on or take them on and off for every wash? My baby is a muddy mess ={ On the other hand, I'm a happy boarder =)

use an occasional high pressure wash - if it's warm, break out a sponge and get what you can

see my rack below:

I don't remove mine. Just wash around them and wash them. If the rack is tight, no dirt should get

under them.
