Kelley Blue Book values is more than new?
My base 1999 A4 QT is listed at $26,780 retail in the Kelley Blue Book. That's $800 more than I paid new!
How does a used car price surpass the brand new vehicle. Dealers do have crazy pricing.

What's up with Kelley Blue?
Have others noticed that the Kelley Blue Book seems to be high for retail prices on A4s? Wholesale price looks OK. Retail price on the "certified" used car I bought was something like $29,600, and dealer sold it me for about $25,000. Odd when the car is certified that it would sell way below book. You certainly don't find BMW dealers selling certified 3-series at below book value.
