Default KONI coilovers on supremepowerparts.com for $900??? i thought they were like 1200?

Koni's division in Germany designs and builds special spring and shock absorber kits featuring threaded, adjustable lower spring perches (where applicable) and progressive rate lowering springs. These Autobahn tested kits are available in limited quantities, and carry the same comprehensive warranty offered on regular Koni shocks and struts.

Default yes but for not much more than Koni you can get h&r, kw, etc.

It is all driver prefernece though. If he wants to just dial in the ride height and never plans on tracking the car then Konis would be perfect
