Default Koni Stasis vs. Stock Sport ride quality

When I install new Stasis coilovers on the softest, or closest to the softest setting; how will this compare in ride quality to the stock sport suspension?

Default exactly...

Stasis offers a wide array of coilovers, from the "plain" Koni Coilovers to their Motorsport line. I have the Track Sport coilovers with 550/650 on a 1.8TQ. They aren't on the stiffest setting, but relatively close. I LOVE the ride, but I'm the type of person who also thinks the ride with 19's is perfect for everyday use (have beenr unning 19's for 3 years now). The average person wouldn't even want to sit in my car.

Default I am going with the motorsports line

I'm not sure of the spring rate I want to run. I am primarily looking for the ability to adjust everything. I have 18's and want to be able to lower it and go but I travel quite a bit on open highway with a full car and don't want to rub. Comfort first, performance second.

Default It's going to be firmer than stock sport, but it shouldn't be too objectionable...

Comfort is a highly subjective area...and the condition of your local roads will greatly influence your final opinion of the kit. Start with the minimum spring rate that Stasis recommends for your car...if you want to later add spring rate, they will of course offer a free spring exchange for 90 days.

Rubbing is a function of your wheels and tires. I've found that the Stasis shocks tend to allow more wheel travel than other brands of shocks. That doesn't mean you'll rub, it just means the possibility is more likely with a Stasis kit vs. something like H&R coilovers. I wouldn't let this sway your decision though. Worse case scenario, you could roll your fenders to get around this. Any rubbing you should experience would most likely be mild.

FYI, I haven't personally driven in the motorsports kit...I've talked to stasis about it, and asked them for comparisons to the kit I currently have on my car (S4). I'm interpolating to try to give you an idea what you might expect.
