Default I put them in backward.

Putting a torque wrench on that inner side while the corner is loaded is a bit difficult.

What's the torsional rigidity of a 10.9 grade bolt? Suppose you could calculate the loss, and add it to the torque wrench. That's too much for me..

Default I think the reasoning behind the way that blt is in is that if the nut even came off, the bolt

wouldn't be able to come out. I put in back in backwards like others have mentioned. I've always just hit it out with a screw driver and a hammer starting with the wheel turned in a little and then progressively turning it out and hitting it more and more.

Default disagree..

They reversed the bolt on the newer B6 chassis.

I think it was simply an oversight, since the suspension was assembled outside of the car, I don't think they realized the problem.

Default I coulda set the height for the drop you wanted on the 1st try.

I would have even accounted for the settling, so you wouldn't have to touch a thing.
