Last Audio Question :-) Basslink mounting which of these two methods will give best sound?

That large sub hanging the rear deck practically renders the rear half of the trunk useless. You would be surprise how few things will actually fit between the bumper "lip" and the bottom of the sub.

I guess it depends on the kinds of things you load your trunk with. I'll be hopefully getting my basslink before the aftermarket event and mouinting it like WClark in the lower pic.

I think that it will actually sound a lot better if it is facing down. Bass is emphasized if it has a wall not to far from the face of the speaker. Something with standing waves I believe. Plus you want to be able to stick you boards in the small side of the seats, so people can still sit in the back, and you don't want people to see what you have in the trunk that is making all that muddy sounding bass! Oh yeah and thief's too.

the ski sack compartment. if it's too loud or too cold out, i can close the interior arm thingy and it sounds great.
