Default last night was amature night for sure

Well, first I had to have my shoulder dislocated because I seem to have worn out a shoulder which should have lasted 8-10yrs but only lasted 8months. I had to have 2 friends pick me up and on our way home from the hospital (in my car) we almost get rear ended. Oh, the fun doesn't stop there.

Almost to BlockBuster when some as$hat in an Excursion locks up his brakes and slides into the intersection right beside me. He then throws it into reverse and backs up almost hitting my car. At this point I've had it. Called 911 tell them who I am, and they patched me in with the closest Sheriff (who just happened to be one of the guys I know). As we start moving, the guy is driving in the wrong lane. We turn the corner and there's a trooper who has someone else pulled over. I pull over behind him and low and behold, he nabbed some kids for drunk driving. As I was talking to him, my buddy (the sheriff) flies right by us. I call this morning to find out what was going on and it seems the guy was transporting about a brick of wacky tobacky and was under the influence.

So feeling like I have accomplished something, I'm on my way home and I watched a guy in a Dodge Caravan suddenly cut the wheel and drive into a ditch. I was like WTF is going on. Call the cops again, and he was drunk as well. He had fallen asleep at the wheel. When he woke up, he thought he saw his house and cut the wheel to make the driveway (which there was none, hence the ditch). He was about 22miles away from where he lives.

What gives? Sad part is, none of these people would have learned anything from these incidents and will only go on to doing it again! Ughhhh, just be safe out there. For every one of us that try and abide by the low, there seem to be 50 who don't!

Default wow, I didn't realize things like that happened so early in the week...

I always worried about running into people like that during the end week and weekends. I guess I don't worry about me getting hit but my family and friends.

Default i was driving lights and siren saturday night on duty responding in the medic unit

to an allergic reaction. i got of town trying to merger onto the major highway. well this mustang convertible was in front of me with some young girl driving. im not going fast but i am coming and rolling up on her. she pulls over to the right and lets me "pass" i dont even make it passed her rear panel and she pulls back into my lane. i locked the brakes on the ambulance up and nearly **** my pants because there was a tractor trailer on my L lane and she was on the R. If i would have hit her that would have been a PIT maneuver which would have send her spinning into the main lanes of the highway and the tractor trailer.
luckily the tractor saw or noticed that was going on and locked his brakes up as well.
i wasnt able to see the back window in the mustang convertible when she pulled back into my lane... it was darn close..

she hopefull learned something. i know i did: stay away from young girls driving and pass only after they are stopped...
