Lease return
I returned my leased '99 A4 to the lienholder (Wells Fargo) way back in early July, 1-month before the registration on the car expires. I even mailed my Notice of Transfer and Release of Liability to the DMV here in Calif. that very day. Lo and behold, what do I get in the mail yesterday but a NOtice of Delinquest Renewal from the illustriou California DMV!! WTF???!!! Anybody else have this experience? And what could've caused it? And how the H*LL do I get DMV off my back??!! Thanks in advance for the help!!
