I am asking here since this forum gets the most traffic.
I have a curbed rim where the lip is scraped. Can I expect to be billed for this upon lease turn in. Lease Co. is Audi (VW Credit). I have 2 months and I need to know if I need to send the wheels off to be fixed. I DO NOT want to do this, as I don't have a spare car, only a donut.
Thanks!

Do any of you have direct experience. That was what I was hoping for. Thanks.
I do appreciate the humorous hijacking of this thread. I miss the bug when I am away.

Ivan,
I turned in a lease (with Toyota but they may be similar to Audi's rules) and was told the following:
* No scratches on the body that are larger than what can be covered by a credit card.
* All lights and safety equipment in working order.
* Tires must have 80% tread left.
I know that Audi may be different, but I doubt they vary by much. You've taken really good care of your TT and I don't think that they will fine you.
What car are you going to get to replace the TT? I'd hate to see you leave Audi.

I don't fit comfortably in any A4, new or G1. The seats just ain't right for my body.
I can afford a used A6 but with a 4 year loan and a 2 year warranty, that leaves me exposed with 2 years no warranty. Audi parts are expensive. Period. And I have had a very unreliable Audi.
I am shopping the IS300, Infiniti G35 and Altima 3.5SE and possibly Maxima.
Already nixed the Subie WRX (too small), A4, Saab (ugh), and Jag X-Type (spensive!!).
SO that's where I am at right now. suggestions?
