I need to solder this connector back in place for the steering wheel/ airbag conversion. (Bye Bye Granny wheel). Any way as you can see the connector wires have been cut and the original owner supplied me with the connector with the spliced wires hanging out the back. Here is the question...Both wires are black and of equal length and lead directly to the airbag. Are the two wires interchangable? Its a 50 -50 shot, but dont want the bag blowing up cuz I hooked it up backwards. Im guessing they can be swapped because the plug leading to the airbag doesnt look like it is direction sensative. Anyone know? This could be my last post. ;-)

Wrap the airbag cover to the wheel using some good old ducktape and make sure there is no power left in the car (hold the brakes down with battery discounted) before you plug it back in.
And for the non-believers I've seen an aribag removale go wrong but the guy warped the steeringwheel in ducktape and the went off but luckly the tap held the bag from hitting him in the face.
I would say go with a new one though.
