I noticed on my 98 A4 and others 96-98's light scratches on the windshield. They are not big enough to feel with your finger, however, depending on the angle of the sun, they do become frustrating. I believe the strength of the spring in the wiper blade is the culprit. It is stronger than the ones I had on Saabs/Volvos. I never noticed these scratches on other cars. Has anyone else also noticed this problem, and what do you do about it other than try and forget it since you cannot notice them on cloudy days, etc.

check your drivers windsheild wiper blade. If installed wrong like mine, light scratches. Dealer replaced the windsheild 2 weeks ago and replaced wiper blade with something a little different. (lots of info in the archives)<p>Frank Maassen 98.5 QMS
