It took me about 2 hours to do it, and I had to mess around a bit installing the small filter onto the vapor recovery line, but in the end it's totally worth it.

Idle sounds about the same, maybe a little louder (not that noticeable), but open the throttle and rev above 4000 and this thing sounds SWEET!

Thanks to djnelsen...based on your recommendation and vigorous defense of this mod in the face of countless 1.8T detractors, I chose to go forward with this upgrade.

Throttle response feels like it's improved somewhat. Low end power is pretty much the same...top end is a little better. LLtek claims 10 hp on the mod, but I'd say it's more like 5 hp. I'm not sure how much of the performance gain comes from actual increases in hp; a lot of it is mental horsepower

It's a big improvement in sound; I can actually hear the engine now. Considering I've done everything else I can do for performance besides the supercharger (chip, exhaust, and now intake), I'd say my car is probably putting out around 220 hp. I'd really need to take my car back to the drag strip to see how it comes out (I ran a 15.9 @ 90.4 stock). If I had to guess, it's say the three put together would help me run a 15.5 on a good day.
