locked out of my car, and key wont open the lock..is this common
i am not sure if my battery is dead or not, but i tried to open my door and the lock didnt work? is there anyway i can open the hood from outside?

Did you try the passenger side keyhole ? You should be able to manually open it with the key.
What year car ? My '99 had keyholes on both front doors.
Definitely put a new battery in the key fob

someone tried to break in the car, so the passengert side key hole doesnt allow a key, and the
key i haev for the car is a copy, lost the original way back, adn the truck wont open with it ....and it wont open on the drivers side lock
