Default LOL. Called VW dealer to check on coil pack price...

$82.40 each, vs. the Audi dealer which said $77.69.

The same company owns the VW and Audi dealers here, too.

I prefer PureMS...

Default Are you talking about ignition coils?

Which revision are they selling you? Maybe VW is selling you a newer revision while Audi is selling you original '99 equipment.

Default You mean VW and Audi stealerships?...

If they are the same, VW should be at least $5 less per coil.

Default ....

you use 06B coils he uses 058 coils... the quality 058 hitachi coils are more costly and have a much lower rate of failure as per my experience. The 058 coils are 3 wire and are not interchangeable with 06B coils which are 4 wire. 058 coils are also much more expensive... but worth the $$$ as they are more reliable... tho they do have intermediate boots which should be replaced at some point.
