lookin for Valentine One on Ebay
I'm tryin to buy a V1 off of ebay...is this safe? Are v1's covered by a factory warranty? Are all V1's sold on ebay of equal quality - should I buy from some guy with a lengthy spiel, or something concise?

Call valentine and ask for a "refurb" or a returned one....
They are the exact same model they are selling now and come w/ a full warranty. If you buy off ebay you likely won't have a warranty as you are not the original buyer.
Usually, from what someone (RKA) told me here at AW, the unit you are getting is just a return from a customer that didn't want to keep the unit, taking advantage of that 30-day money back guarantee.
This method will get you a v1 at a 10% discount, or something like that. Often times close to what you pay on eBay.
