Looking for GIAC chip for sale or trade
I am currently looking for a GIAC chip. I currently have the APR chip for sale or trade. My car is a 98.5 1.8T Front Trak 5 speed manual. If anyone has the same ECU I am willing to sell you the chip already programmed and soldered in for either stock and cash, or for a GIAC chipped simalar ECU and I would send you the APR chipped ECU and cash from my end. Anyone in the detroit area would be preferabler, but outside the detroit area I would be willing to pay shipping. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the chip, I've only had it for 2 months. I can send the original receipt along with it for warranty purposes. I also have a set of APR Roll control springs that I would like to keep but willing to part with if the trade is fair. The only reason I am trading the chip is because I ended up getting a good deal on a K04, and APR doesn't have a k04 program out or plan to release one anytime soon. If you have any other brand chip with ko4 software, I'd be willing to listen to a trade. I'd be willing to listen to what any neuspeed P-chip owners will willing to offer, but really looking for GIAC. I am also willing to take care of warranty transfer. Desperately need K04 software, but love the APR chip on K03. Thanks, e-mail me with any particulars.

I have a non-dbw GIAC socketed and chipped ecu that I would sell.
It is currently coded for a quattro tiptronic without ASR but could easily be VAGed to work in your car. I would like to get $550. I am not interested in a trade, I just need to sell this one.

Have you found a chip yet? This is your lucky day! I traded in my 98.5 1.8T Front Trak 5 speed manual about two months ago. The dealer was a real *** about the trade so I kept a momento from the car...my GIAC chipped ECU with the latest KO4 software on it. Email me if your still interested. e.ladd@***.net
