Is there a way to take it apart to dry it without breaking the plastic? If it won't work when dry, what then?
Yikes! (my fault, I left my key in my jeans pocket before giving them to my wife to wash)

If your keys were in the washing machine your circuit board should of be short circuited by all that water. Now sometimes it works after its been dryed completely, but if there was anykind of water in your keys and you used it then I guarantee you that its not going to work. If you have another key then use that and tell your Audi dealor that it doesn't work no more and save face.
