My K03 wastegate (1997 w/ 118k) finally ate itself. Anyone have a used replacement they are looking to sell.

Also, I would consider a K04 upgrade if it can be swapped to my girlfriends '01 A4 when we go to sell my 1997 in a year.

What is the final verdict on the K04 reliability? There is tons of information out there but all of it seems fairly old. I cannot drop $2-5k for bigger/better turbo kits but might be able to swing $1500-$2k.

"stg3" or a k04. k03 replacement would be silly unless you find someone's used one after an upgrade. if you're looking to spend a lot, then do the k04. if you're getting a full kit, get the giac from induktion.

Depending on the rest of your car, you may want to upgrade your BPV as well, and your clutch, depending on it's condition.

Just a K04, can be purchased for around $1000-1200, you could have it installed for under $1500 total, easy. Can be run with K03 software.
