Default Loose engine cover. Look at this pic...

and tell me if this would cause any real harm. This is the second time that cover came loose, I had to latch the rest of the plastic up in order to snap it back on... It's a pain in the *** after every drive I pop the hood open to check if it snapped off. I took it to Zumbach once and they did it within' an hour, I did it in 5 minutes, but thats besides the point. It's just aggravating dropping my car off for an unscheduled service without getting a loaner. Did anyone experience the same problem? My alarm went off for no apparent reason, I thought I accidently push my keys into the panic button while leaning over. But it was the car sensing a loose engine cover. (amazing technology yes?)

I think zumbach did a ****-poor job last time and i'm very reluctant to go there again. Should I use krazy glue to make the clamps stay? or request that audi replace a new engine cover.

another question, can I bitch to AoA on how unsatisfied I am with my vehicle because of the inconvenience and baggage my car came with?

thanks

I would file a complaint with AoA and switch dealers.

Default Call them first and get a complain #.. then write it in writing and send it to them

I did this for my car when i ordered it and the dealer sold it to somebody else after i waited 4 months for it.. then AoA found me a car.

sure you can, but it's like talking to a brick wall. my car has had an amazing number of problems, and AOA doesn't give a ****.

coming from someone that's in sales, all that AOA phone reps are trained to do is assuage you, and/or calm you down.(i recognized their technique immediately..) they have no power to do anything, nor will they allow you to reach someone that does.

fwiw, if my car had not been warrantied, i would have had to spend about $12,000 in repairs. (tranny, turbo, miscellaneous little crap)

i didn't have my car for about 2 months (total down time) and AOA basically said to me "sorry sir, here's a reference number. *click*"

ymmv, but i doubt it.

Default ive already filed a complaint against zumbach.. file another one!

theyre terrible!!
i took my car in for an oil change, i provided the synthetic oil, and when i came and picked her up, they used dino oil, and said that they're not allowed to use synthetic oils on my audi! then you know what?? they shouldve called me before using dino oil! they were trying to keep my amsoil too! it took them almost an hour to retrieve my 4 quarts!
