Default Loss of power, Blinking MIL, coughing what could it be??
So last night on my way into DC to rendezvous with the first lady my car suddenly lost power started coughing and the MIL came on and was blinking. I know when that little lamp blinks its a bad thing so I pulled over and called triple A. They actually came in 45 min with a Flat Bed (impressed) Now I am waiting the diagnosis. Any thoughts as to what it is? Mine are dirty fuel filter or something to that nature my buddy thinks ignition coil.
1997 A4 1.8TQA

Default Fuel Injectors?
The same thing happened to me last week...1, 2 and 5 fuel injectors were bad and fouled my plugs...lucky I have an extended warranty.
