ready to hook up a sub-woofer & amp and will have to disconnect the battery. My Audi service advisor said it is on the back of the head unit. How do I know which numbers? Thanks.

it, it can be activate by the code at the back of the head unit.
But when my car was deliver the sales told me that they can get back the radio code from the head unit serial no., I think your service advisor is talking about the serial no. not the radio code.
but nomatter what, if you lost the code in your radio manual. you can ask dealer to figure it out for you.

At time of delivery you (should have) received a card with the code on it.

If you call the dealer and give them your VIN# they can give it to you over the phone. Took 5min.
