Default Lower control arm joints stuck

I'm doing my control arms. The lower control arms on the passenger side popped out with some hard hammering. I've been banging on the driver side ones since yesterday and they're not budging. I also have a fork shaped ball joint separator that I've been prying with. I've soaked the joints with PB blast many times. They're still not moving. Any clever ideas?

Default I had the same problem, just keep banging away...

one side came out really easy and the other was a pita. Just keep letting the pb soak in then hammer away or try using the separator. I just about gave up then I barely tapped the arm and it droped out. :-)

Default I was in a pinch and bought a pitman arm separator from NAPA....

it was $40 and worked great.

Sorry, I'm not closer or I'd loan you mine. Local no, but these could probably FedEx it quite fast. Napa or Autozone might have a similar version to rent.

http://samstagsales.com</a

Anything would be better then a pickle fork and a hammer. That should be a last ditch effort. Most of the time after the nut is removed, the joint falls apart.

Default Most of the time? I've never had a lower ball joint come out on it's own..

and I've used my 3287a on every one I've done, and I've lost count...
