Lower suspension gives the stock wheels that "sunk in" look. Can I use spacers and longer bolts?

Can I use a spacer and longer bolts to align the wheels with the fenders? No, I'm not interested in the "wheels wider then car" look, I just want the wheels to look flush with the body.
Yeah, I know I can buy a set of wheels with a larger offset, but are there any side effects of using a spacer set with factor wheels to achieve this effect?
Also, where can I find such kit?
Thanks,
Tomasz

Hoppen Motorsport has them (see link). $270 for 4 spacers and longer lugs.

It's the same as switching to aftermarket wheels that have more offset. Widening the track will make the car corner a bit better, but you are also changing the suspension geometry away from how it was optimally engineered. It's not really that noticeable either way though.
