Default Lower Trim.............?

I know this has all been discussed before, but im stuck.

The lower trim (the rubber bit above the skirt) on my a4 sucks, i want to replace it with the s4 style, but my loacl rip off merchant, sorry i mean audi dealership wants over £200 (about$275?) for it. I think this is a bit steep for a bit of tiny plastic.

I have been told that in America you have stuff called 'trim guard' and that you can get it to fit perfectly for the a4.

Would someone be kind enough to give me the part numbers for the set of this trim guard (ie to go on all 4 doors and the small bits just in front of the front doors) and where to get it from. I keep searching various sites but nothing really seems to be as obvious as everyone makes it out to be. But maybe im dumb?

Its either get trim guard or take the existing trim off and get the holes filled and resprayed- but thats costly!!!

TIA

Default have you tried some junkyards looking for these pieces off an S4?

the S4 stuff looks way better imo. Seems like you get a better price than we do from the dealer. We have to pay close to $600 for the 8 S4 lower trim pieces from a dealer.

cars like that don't seem to appear in british scrapyards. So i might have to bite the bullet and by the genuine ones then?!

Default trim gaurd is cheap if you want to try that route first

The pics I've seen look fine, but the trim gaurd doesn't seem to have much thickness. That's what I like better about the look of the real thing.
